The 1950 era Antelope Lodge has 28 unique rooms with kitchenettes, wifi, air conditioning, cable TV and parking by your cottage. Walls of each cabin are solid terracotta brick covered in plaster, so they provide a lot of privacy from the outside world. A central courtyard shaded by pines trees is enjoyed by both guests and pets alike. Porches and chairs are outside every room so come sit a spell. The Lodge is currently undergoing renovations and there are visible imperfections, but if you want a vintage motor court experience this is it.
The Antelope has four classes of rooms ranging from the Standard with a full size bed to our Courtyard Queens and Suites that surrounded the courtyard. All rooms have new mattresses, linens, pillows, towels and new flat screen TV’s. Most rooms have stained concrete floors and some have tile, but these are all very rustic. Each room has a window AC unit and a mix of vintage tables and new furniture.
Each room has an older kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, all-in-one: fridge, sink, and burners plus counter space for meal preparation. These units are dated and not suitable for cooking Thanksgiving dinners, but we are in the process of remodeling them.
The bathrooms contain vintage 1950 tile work and most have retro colors ranging from green and pink to baby blue and tan. We have updated the bathroom faucets and shower heads, but please know these are older bathrooms so there are some cracked tiles and imperfections throughout.
